I’ve come to realize that I DO NOT like garlic cooked in the crock pot. I thought it was the cajun spice, being as I only noticed that interesting…shall we say, flavor in the red beans and rice dishes I was trying. SO, I thought it was the cajun spice. Yeah, no. It’s garlic. This WOULD have been good had I been able to taste the chicken. It was really creamy. The chicken was really tender. Yeah, all I tasted was the icky garlic. I didn’t take it for lunch. I will make this again WITHOUT adding the garlic at the beginning and will try to add it during the last 30 minutes or so and see if that helps.
