Ever since I tasted the cinnamon toast chickpeas, they just screamed, “Drown me in white chocolate goodness!” Thus Cinnamon Toast White Chocolate Bark was born!

Yes, this is a teaser photo.  Just look at that white chocolate goodness in there!!  Mmmmm…

While browsing my blog roll one day, I stumbled on a Kickstarter campaign for some tongs.  Hiking tongs called the Clover Cook Set to be exact.  Thus was my introduction into the world of Kickstarter .

What’s Kickstarter, you ask?  It’s a different way to fund creative projects.  You have an idea, you create a pitch, prototype, sample, etc, and post about it on Kickstarter .  If people like it, they will promise to sponsor your project at various levels.  For me, I try to keep it under $20, except the Food Huggers…

You see, I was so excited when I received my Clover Cook Set , that I thought I’d wander around and see what else I might like on this Kickstarter.   That’s how I stumbled onto Food Huggers.  I was so excited and getting so impatient for these huggers to show up.  They’re silicone covers for your food.  Check it out!

Yes.  I splurged enough to get two in the mail.  I was completely sold and convinced I needed these.  Seriously.  They work just as good as they say on their page.  We’ve been making our own hoagies for Sunday lunches.  These include red onions and tomatoes.  I can cut into a tomato and an onion on Sunday, place it in a food hugger, and the next Sunday use the same tomato and onion and it looks like I just cut it open the day before.

Don’t judge.  We order in on Fridays and occasionally Saturdays.  I love to cook, but a hoor’s gotta have a break every now and then.  Yeah.  It’s a white onion.  I forget to get the reds that week.  So, there they sit.  And there they will sit until the following Sunday when I open them up and slice some more off for sammies.  And they will look just as fresh as if I’d just sliced into them.

They have some cool colors schemes.  I got these two and as a bonus, for the avocado hugger, too.  I haven’t tried that one out, yet.  We’re not HUGE avocado fans here.  Just the RARE and I mean R.A.R.E guacamole.  Never sliced on salads or as a side.  Just…really, not huge avocado eaters.  That one may be gifted.  It looks cool, though!!

So, then I started wandering around a little more.  I was looking for hiking or camping stuffs and of course, food stuffs!  I landed on Fab Figs.  Oh.  My.  I loves me some dried figs, but seriously?  Dried figs filled with chocolate ganache?  *swoon*

Ever since I tasted the cinnamon toast chickpeas, they just screamed, “Drown me in white chocolate goodness!

These things are like crack.  Seriously.  Crack.  It’s the sweet and delicious flavor of figs filled with either dark, milk or white chocolate.  Me?  Dark…DUH!  They’re hand made in small batches, individually wrapped, and shipped right to your door.  Valentine’s is coming up.  Just sayin.

Not only are they UBER delicious, but unique!  I never would have thought to stuff figs with anything, let alone chocolate ganache.  Heck, I didn’t know you COULD stuff them with anything.  But, I’m SO SO SO glad they did and shipped me some.  They’re OMG-YUMMY!

Okay…this food stuff is kind of cool!  What else is out there?

Then I stumbled onto 2 Armadillos roasted chickpeas.  Now, I LOVE roasted chickpeas.  They’re so crunchy, tasty, good for ya!  I just have yet to be able to make them at home.  I wind up burning them.  *sigh*

Ever since I tasted the cinnamon toast chickpeas, they just screamed, “Drown me in white chocolate goodness!

So, next thing I know, Jimmy from 2 Armadillos sends me an email and wants to send me samples.  Oh …  HECK YES!  LOVES me some samples!!  I had a good laugh with that email.  He literally was up the street from work the day before.  How in the world was I to know they were local to ME??  FAB-ulous!

I received the samples and WOW!  Crunchy tasty goodness in a fresh pouch.  How have I lived without these??  The cinnamon toast ones just really hit home with me.  I had HAD to make something with them.  They were just so gooooooooood!!

I know they’re meant for snacking, but my brain is just RUNNING with the ideas for the other flavors: Rosemary, Tomato and Basil, and Red Cayenne.  I haven’t tasted the tomato and basil yet, but the rosemary and red cayenne are SUPER yummy and I’m having a hard time resisting the urge to faceplant in those pouches and just eat them all RIGHT NOW!!

Ever since I tasted the cinnamon toast chickpeas, they just screamed, “Drown me in white chocolate goodness!

Ever since I tasted the cinnamon toast chickpeas, I’ve had this on the brain.  They just screamed,  “Drown me in white chocolate goodness with some cinnamon nuts!!”  It did.  Seriously.  I’m not kidding.  Jimmy and the 2 Armadillos crew were SUPAH kind enough to send me a larger than normal pouch.

Granted I did give serious Twitter shouts out to hopefully drum up more supporters for their campaign.  When I find something THIS GOOD, I want THE WHOLE WORLD to know.  Granted, the whole world can’t get the cinnamon toast and their tomato basil fixes, just yet.  I’m sure that’s something they’ll introduce later.  At least I hope they do.

Okay.  Just thought I’d give ya a laugh with my “studio” set up.  Yes.  That’s a credenza in my office.  See that window?  AWESOME diffused light for stuff like this.  So, you, too can make pretty photos anywhere.

Now.  BEG Jimmy and his crew at 2 Armadillos to send ya some cinnamon toast goodness so you can make this DELICIOUS bark.
